(APL) has initiated steps for laying a pipeline from Visakhapatnam Port to its plant for importation of propylene as a standby arrangement to meet feedstock requirement for achieving a higher level of output on a consistent basis. This is because the inadequate propylene supplies to the company from HPCL continued up to August 1999 affecting the company's operations.
