He was actively involved in academia as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Engineering College. Mr. Bajaj was awarded "Indira Priyadarshini Award" for excellence in Industrial sector in the year 1998.Encouraged with the response, "Omax Industries" a new entity was formed to manufacture GSE, in 1995. Many new airlines, including low cost carriers, commenced their operations in India and hence requirement of GSE's has increased many-fold.
