In fact, the BullsEye is two tools in one. The built-in stud finder works at depths up to 3/4 inches and provides both an LED and alarm indicator to signal when you've reached the edge of a stud. Once you locate the studs in the wall you're working with, you can then hang the BullsEye at the appropriate height using either the included drywall pushpin (for drywall surfaces) or the keyhole insert with a standard screw or nail (for all other surfaces). Activate the self-leveling laser lines, and the built-in pendulum levels the unit automatically. Depending on the light conditions in your work area, the laser lights should be visible up to 10 feet in either direction. No more chalk lines or straight edges. Just a clean, accurate guide for where to place your fasteners. The included target cones are effective up to 50 feet in either direction of the unit, providing an overall work surface of up to 100 feet in length. The BullsEye works best indoors and is intended for the home enthusiast. Professionals will likely want something a bit more versatile (the BullsEye works only on a true horizontal axis, so it can't determine plumb or set a straight line at any other angle).--Carl Thress
