Now available without dust collection! Now you can have the power and speed of Porter-Cable's Drywall Sander without pulling a vacuum around. This drywall sander is designed with new construction in mind, where speed is more important than dust collection. Finish walls and ceilings three to four times faster than conventional methods. The articulating head keeps the sanding disc properly oriented to the drywall during sanding operations. Patented foam-backed adhesive sanding pads virtually eliminate swirl marks. The variable-speed dial allows matching the speed to the application. The powerful 3.5 amp motor turns the sanding pad at 2,000 rpm for aggressive sanding action. Because the sander is 62 inches long, the operator can easily reach up to 10-foot-high ceilings without scaffolding. Weighing only 7-1/2 pounds with the motor on the lower end of the handle, the sander is lightweight and well balanced for comfortable all day use. One year warranty with a 30 day performance certification. Includes sander, 100 grit sanding pad, and operator's manual.
