If BMW designed a bathroom, this is what their hand shower would look like--this fixture oozes industrial cool. The triple-plated hand shower comes from Gnutti Sebastiano & Figli S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer known for high-end fixtures. It has a satin nickel finish, mounts on a sliding bar, attaches with a 59-inch double-interlocked metal hose, and features three spray patterns. The same maker also offers a coordinating soap and shampoo holder (sold separately) that mounts at the bottom of the unit's sliding bar. Though this sleek, handsome hand shower shifts smoothly between spray patterns, it does have one minor disadvantage: the picture symbols for the three spray settings are not easy to understand. The icon for the left-hand setting looks like a mushroom, the middle icon looks like a comb, and the right-hand icon looks like a jellyfish. A sticker on the fixture's box lists the three spray settings as "rain," "bubbly," and "massage." As far as this reviewer can tell, mushroom equals rain, comb equals bubbly, and jellyfish equals massage.
