Simply turn the knob on the front of the drill head to change speeds. Two speed ranges from 150 to 1,100 rpm and 500-3,200 rpm let you choose exactly the speed you need. Powered by a 3/4-horsepower induction motor, this drill press has plenty of power for large capacity drilling. The motor can also be wired to 230 volts for increased power. A rack and pinion drive system allows easy raising and lowering of the rugged cast iron table. The six-inch stroke length allows the drilling of deep holes without re-positioning the workpiece. For repetitive drilling, a micro-adjustable depth stop allows precise drilling to the same depth over and over. The slow speed capability and a built-in coolant trough in the worktable make metal drilling simple. All in all, this drill press will handle a wide variety of drilling applications with ease.
