This new Rotary Laser by Porter-Cable incorporates all the newest features you expect in a rotary laser and the high level of quality Porter-Cable is known for. The class IIIA, 635 nm laser is accurate to +/- 1/8 inch at 100 feet. The laser can be changed from a single dot to a series of dots forming a dotted line for leveling purposes across large areas. The heavy base unit features a self-leveling pendulum design for accuracy, and has an out of level indicator to ensure proper positioning. The 3-speed radio frequency remote control can rotate the laser 360 degrees allowing even the hardest leveling jobs to be done by one person. Recalibration can be done by the end-user eliminating costly down time. The laser will automatically shut itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity to ensure a long battery life. The unit can be used as is or mounted on a standard tripod mount of 1/4-inch by 20 and 5/8-inch x 11. Includes laser, remote control, target, laser enhancement glasses, owner's manual and protected carrying case. The laser runs on 4 AA batteries, and the remote is powered by a 9-volt battery. Batteries are not included.
