If you're doing serious woodworking at home or in a small professional shop, JET's 1-1/2-horsepower dust collector is right up your alley. JET has taken an already fantastic system that collects 7.36 cubic feet of material at 30 microns and larger and upgraded it to accept the optional canister-style filter, which traps everything down to 2 microns. The 1-1/2-horsepower motor moves air at 1,100 cubic feet per minute. As a rule, JET systems run quieter than other dust collectors we've used, but we still recommend ear protection, considering you'll be running it in conjunction with a saw, planer, sander, or other power tool. Unlike other systems, this one offers 4- and 6-inch inch ports. Another nice touch: the collector comes mounted on casters for easy maneuvering.
