The JET JDP-17MF floor model drill press will be a great addition to the shop. It comes wit a 5/8-inch drill chuck and a powerful 3/4-horsepower, 115-volt motor that can also run on 230-volt. 16 spindle speeds range from 200 up to 3,630 rpm. A heavy duty switch is mounted on the front of the press and a light socket is supplied in the drill head so you can see what you are doing in a dark corner of the shop (bulb not included, sorry). Another big feature is the positive depth stop that you can set so you will be consistent in drilling depth. A heavy round table with several slots will let you position your vise or jigs where you need them. The table will also swivel and can be raised or lowered.
