This Porter-Cable 18-gauge, 2-inch brad nailer is a compact, comfortable-to-carry unit that might not offer quite as many extras as other (more expensive) units, but it's very reliable and does its job well. This nailer shoots standard brads from 3/4 to 2 inches long and has an anodized magazine with a reload indicator. The die-cast aluminum body is lightweight but still very strong, and the handle is comfortable to hold, even over long periods of time. The quick-release nosepiece lets you clear jams quickly and easily. Other features include a sequential fire trigger, a safety that's located behind the driver guide for driving brads in tight spaces, an easy-to-adjust depth guide, a directional exhaust port, and a removable rubber nose. The kit comes with a 1/4-inch male coupler with dust cover, a rugged plastic carrying case, oil, and 1,000 brads. --Jonathon Tudor

With features normally found only on larger nailers, this 18 gauge brad is a powerful and user friendly. Great for attaching decorative moldings to furniture projects where smaller diameter fasteners are a must. The magazine will accept 3/4-inch to 2-inch brad nails and has a visual reload indicator to signal that the magazine is nearly empty. An adjustable vent cap allows exhaust to be diverted away from the operator and the project. The specially hardened driver blade is housed behind a quick-release nosepiece to allow easy clearing of jammed nails. A removable, non-marring tip attaches to the narrow safety foot behind the tip of the nailer for better visibility and clearance in tight spaces. Built-in depth-of-drive adjustment allows exact setting of nail head without changing settings on the air compressor. Finally, a sequential fire trigger and increased power assure that nails will be driven accurately and cleanly. Includes brad nailer in carrying case, 1/4-inch male quick coupler with dust cover, 1000 pack of nails, oil, Allen wrenches, and operator's manual. NOTE: This nailer comes with a restrictive-fire trigger standard. A bump-fire trigger, which allows holding the trigger down and bumping the safety contact to fire, is available free-of-charge by calling 1-800-321-9443. Please provide the model number and serial number of each nailer requiring a trigger. For identification purposes, the bump-fire trigger is black and the restrictive-fire trigger is red. FEATURES
