The Designer
Julian Brown is a top designer with a distinguished career. He studied mechanical engineering and industrial design at the Royal College of Art, where he also works today as an external teacher of industrial design. His characteristic formal style has been greatly influenced by periods spent in Japan, Austria, and Berlin. A style which numerous companies around the world regard highly, and which he has given expression to quite brilliantly in his product creations as many international design awards go to prove Julian Brown has already duplicated his talent for Alfi numerous times. The result is the vacuum jug Pump & Go and the two award-winning designs Basic and La Ola. They demonstrate the fruitful fusion of quality and innovation.
