This Farberware 9-by-17-inch cutting board features a grooved channel around the edges to catch juices from sliced roasts and poultry, allowing the chef to recycle them into gravies and sauces. The polyethylene surface is nonabsorbent and nonporous, and its durable construction ensures a long-lasting cutting surface. The entire board is coated with Microban, an antimicrobial agent that inhibits odor- and stain-causing bacterial growth. The agent will never wash off or degrade the plastic. However, users should still clean the board thoroughly, as Microban does not protect against food-borne bacteria. The board features a loop on one end for hanging or transport and is dishwasher-safe.
