The Lodge Logic 8 by 1-3/4 inch skillet provides all the benefits of well-seasoned cast-iron cookware without the time and effort required to create a nonstick patina at home. Heavyweight cast iron heats evenly and retains heat well, making this medium sized skillet perfect for frying and sautéing, or for making a batch of cornbread. Lodge's Logic line of cookware is treated at the factory with a proprietary vegetable oil formula before being baked at a very high temperature to seal the cast iron and create a durable nonstick surface. Logic cookware is oven safe to 500 degrees F, and it should be cleaned by hand using a stiff brush and hot water. Soap and other detergents should not be used. Each pan carries a lifetime warranty.
