Embossed leaves and rims of embossed lines that resemble wind-sculpted sand create a contemporary look in this off-white, casual dinnerware pattern called Sierra. Particularly striking is the coloration, a combination of two subtly different off-whites. Plate rims and bowl and mug exteriors are ivory, while plate centers and bowl and mug interiors are tinted the palest green imaginable--or is it sand? The set consists of a complete place setting: an 11-inch dinner plate, an 8-3/4-inch salad/dessert plate, a 6-inch, 20-ounce soup/cereal bowl, and a 16-ounce mug. Made of heavy stoneware, Sierra pieces are chip-resistant; safe in the oven, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher; carry a three-year warranty against defects; and can be replaced individually.
