Put away that cardboard canister of prefabricated, over-processed Parmesan cheese and grate your own with this Zyliss hand-crank cheese grater. You'll never go back to the packaged stuff again. And, thinking versatility, this fine grinding drum works equally well on hard cheese, nuts, or chocolate. Dust some ground chocolate over cocoa or crepes, nuts over brownies, and, of course, fresh Parmesan over spaghetti. Just slip the steel drum inside the grater, hold on with one hand while twisting the handle on with the other, place the cheese or nuts into the 2-1/4-inch by 1-inch well, and grind as little or as much as you need.
