The KX-TG2356S is a 2.4 GHz phone system that comes with a number of useful extras, including an integrated answering machine and talking caller ID. By utilizing the 2.4 GHz frequency and digital frequency-hoping spread spectrum technology, the KX-TG2356S is able to offer clearer reception at greater distances than traditional analog or even many digital phones. Plus, Panasonic's Voice Enhancer technology helps to reproduce more frequencies in the range of the human voice than other phones, resulting in more intelligible speech. The caller ID has a 30-number internal memory and audibly announces the name or number of the incoming caller. An additional 30-number internal phone directory allows you to store your most frequently used phone numbers, while a display-and-dial feature lets you scroll through either the directory or caller ID and call with the touch of a button.
The all-digital answering machine features a new-call indicator, so you know when you have new messages waiting, and an illuminated keypad makes dialing easy, even in the dark. Headset compatible, the KX-TG2356S has a speakerphone on both the base and handset, allowing you to communicate hands-free. It also comes with a belt clip and is wall-mountable, keeping your countertop clear from extra clutter.
