The newest addition to Canon's PC900 series of personal copiers, the PC940 is markedly compact and offers all the features you'd expect from a much larger (and more expensive) machine. Operating at a speedy 13 copies per minute (11 per minute if you're using legal-size paper), the PC940 boasts Canon's Single Cartridge System, which combines toner, development unit, and drum into one easily replaceable module that yields 4,000 copies. Canon's RAPID fusing system means that the PC940 warms up almost instantly, so there's no waiting for the first copy. Automatic and manual exposure controls help you get your prints just right, and you can also enlarge or reduce your prints anywhere from 71 percent to 141 percent of original size.
The PC940 copies single sheets, books, or any 3-D object up to 4.4 lbs, and can handle sizes up to 8.5 by 14 inches. It comes with a 250-sheet paper cassette and can make 100 copies at a time. The PC940 is backed by a three-year limited warranty with onsite service the first year.
