The AT&T 2255 offers a dual handset system that includes an additional handset and charger, and keeps your phone line crisp with 2.4 MHz transmission. Not only does the additional handset provide an extra phone in the house, but the two handsets act as an intercom. The built-in digital answering system has 15 minutes of recording time and three mailboxes, so each member of the household can store messages separately. The three-line LCD works in conjunction with Caller ID/Call Waiting service, offered by most local phone companies, storing the names and numbers of the last 25 callers, and enabling easy, one-button call returns.
Other handy features include a programmable and adjustable ringer, receiver volume control, and headset jack. The phone is backed by a one-year warranty.
