As a copier, the laser technology brings you 600 dpi print quality as well as the ability to enlarge or reduce. As many as 99 copies can be made in one batch from a single original.

The telephone is ready for a variety of fee-based options from your phone company, including caller ID and pager call. Straight out of the box, you can use the 100-number speed dial and the one-button switch between phone and fax. If you do have caller ID, you can print a complete log of callers at the touch of a button.

The fax offers several options as well. Its 2 MB memory allows storage of over 100 pages, while the 14.4 Kbps modem delivers your pages at an average of eight seconds per page. With subscription to an Internet faxing service, IQ-Fax can send your pages while keeping your telephone line free. The paper tray has a capacity of 150 sheets in either letter or legal size. Panasonic provides a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

This Panasonic plain-paper fax machine uses Speed Director, the exclusive jog dial system for quick and easy programming and dialing. You might say "right at your fingertips," as all it takes is a fingertip to rotate the dial back and forth, accessing the information you need. Spin the dial to review a call display list of at least 30 most recent callers. If, while reviewing the list, you'd like to return a call, pick up the handset and the number is automatically dialed for you. To skip or repeat messages in a built-in digital answering system, spin the Speed Director during message playback.

The quick-scan feature lets you scan a document into memory almost twice as fast as a conventional fax machine, then sends the document from memory to the recipient. Also, the enhanced copier functions on this model perform a range of advanced copier tasks, including enlarge, reduce, collate, and multiple copy. Plus, sequential broadcasting is designed to make faxing to more than one location quick and easy. You can send the same document to several locations. After all transmissions have been completed, a broadcast report will be printed to confirm successful completion of the job.
