Amazon.com If Nick at Nite reruns and the odd reunion special haven't yet numbed you to Brady nostalgia, if the specter of Greg in tight polyester, Jan making her jealous face, or Alice in curlers won't wear out their welcome on your tube no matter what, then by all means, tune into Brady Home Movies. Here's a 50-minute bonanza of bubblegum good times, with the whole surviving gang gathering round for a wide-eyed look back. Jan is painted as a flirt, Greg as the consummate cool guy, and Peter and Bobby seem plunked into parts ripped from their real lives. Vintage movies by the cast members cap off a show as squeaky-clean as the series that enabled it (promises to the contrary, nothing bold emerges). But that's the Brady clan for you: to their credit, they're as curiously captivating (if not nearly as cute) here as they were 30 years ago. --Tammy La Gorce Description The Brady Bunch Home Movies (which aired on CBS only once on May 24, 1995) is filled with great home movie clips from the cast members' own libraries as well as recent interviews with the majority of the cast. During the first year on the show, Robert Reed (Mike Brady) gave each cast member a Super 8 camera. He also took the children to England and New York during the show's hiatus. Some of the footage on The Brady Bunch Home Movies came from those private trips. The DVD version includes an exclusive interview with Susan Olsen and Mike Lookinland.
