Paul Lidel has recorded and toured with some of rocks top acts including Columbia recording artists "Dangerous Toys", and Atlantic Recording Artists "Dirty Looks". He has appeared in several MTV videos, and has been heard on the soundtrack for the movie "Johnny B. Goode" on Orion Pictures. A musically diverse player, Paul has recorded and performed in a variety of styles including Rock, Blues, Metal, R&B, and Funk. In addition to being a hot player, Paul is also an expert teacher. He has taught well over 10,000 guitar lessons, and is a member of the faculty at the National Guitar Workshop, the Austin Guitar School and the University of Texas where he teaches rock lead guitar.
