We use only gentle, reward-based positive reinforcement in our training. When you first bring home your puppy, it's a case of puppylove. But it is up to you to teach your dog what you expect of him/her *before* behaviors become problems that turn the relationship into a dogfight.
Eliminate unwanted behaviors and create new behaviors you want from your dog. You *can* do this and even build a deeper relationship with your pet at the same time!
