Some of the best known Bible stories get a dose of wacky humor courtesy of the VeggieTales gang in this 75-minute "best of" collection. Junior Asparagus takes center stage as the Bible's "Good Samaritan" in "The Story of Flibber-O-Loo" (from the episode Are You My Neighbor?). The complete episodes of Rack, Shack & Benny and Josh and the Big Wall round out the program. The former finds Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, and Junior inside the chocolate bunny factory of King Nebuchadnezzar (here, a giant cucumber), while the latter finds some pesky French peas in the path of those searching for the Promised Land. Certainly a great starter for those getting into the Christian-lite series that proves you can have a lot of fun while teaching age-old lessons.
