Celebrities: Caught on Camera is a celebrity's worst nightmare. Armed with a video camcorder and a single, blinding light, the makers of this videotape troll places where they are likely to catch bleary, irritated celebrities looking and sometimes acting their worst. The majority of the footage is shot in true paparazzi fashion in places like health clubs, on the streets, and in airports. Does anyone, famous or not, really want a camera shoved in their face after 10 hours on an airplane? One can hardly blame the subjects of this video for being annoyed. You may even find yourself cheering a bit for Tommy Lee when he takes a slug at a particularly vile cameraman after a night on the town.
The sight of movie stars hiding their faces and yelling at the cameraperson will soon grow tedious to even the most die-hard Pamela Anderson or Leonardo DiCaprio fan. Celebrities: Caught on Camera crosses the line between public personas and private life repeatedly, though uninterestingly, in what amounts to the video equivalent of the National Enquirer. --Michelle Riggen
