Amazon.com Volume two of this three-disc set covers ghosts at the Alamo, poltergeist phenomena, and Andrew Pixley, the last person to be executed in the Wyoming Frontier Prison. Our host is the estimable Patrick Macnee (The Avengers), but not even he can save this visually maladjusted effort. Seemingly in imitation of Unsolved Mysteries (and then trying to go it one better), the producers of this show incorporate reenactment footage, all shot annoyingly in some ghost-subjective process that goes in and out of focus, and swoops about and cross-fades with stills and other ghostly meanderings. The net effect of all this hokum is to make the viewer nauseated. I began pleading with my TV for a prolonged shot of anyone just talking to me--didn't have to be about ghosts. The low quality of the sound and video as well makes this practically unwatchable. --Jim Gay Listmania!
