Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh, carved out of Madhya Pradesh came into being on 1 November 2000 as the 26th State of the Union.In ancient times the region was known as Dakshin-Kausal.Chhattisgarh is bounded by southern Jharkhand and Orissa in the east, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in the west, Uttar Pradesh and western Jharkhand in the north and Andhra Pradesh in the south. Areawise Chhattisgarh is the ninth largest state and population-wise it is seventeenth state of the nation.

Jharkhand

Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO)
The Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) was established in the year 1981 with the specific objective of creating infrastructure facilities in the identified Industrial Estate/Areas for rapid and orderly establishment and growth of Industries, trade and commerce. It has been declared as the Nodal Agency for providing industrial infrastructure in the State of Orissa.

Balasore Alloys Ltd.
Ispat Alloys Ltd. (IAL) which is part of the Ispat Group of companies is producing ferro alloys by electrometallurgical process in submerged arc furnaces with a capacity of 60 MVA divided into five furnaces. IAL has recently acquired about 100 hectares of chrome ore mines in Sukinda Valley in the State of Orissa and already started mining operations resulting in self sufficiency.
